Fun Airplane Trip...For Mom

We took our kids on an airplane for the first time. I read all these tips and got more tips from friends on what to bring, etc. I was told to feed the baby during take off and landing. I brought a couple toys and the portable DVD player with a Curious George movie for my eldest.

So we’re finally on the plane, my eldest is excited to be in this BIG COOL airplane. Before the plane moves, he’s ready to get up and walk around. I tell him that we’ll watch George in a few minutes. So the plane finally begins to take off and he’s looking out the window. We get above some clouds and I hear him say, “clouds!” and I look at my husband and then back at him and he’s…asleep.

He stayed asleep until we landed. The baby slept on and off and he played with some toys. So basically, this plane ride with kids was a piece of cake.

New Adventures

Something new...My husband worked from home since my eldest was born so he's been great help with the kids. Now he works 5 days a week in the office...yeah.

We're in an apartment temporarily, so during the day I have to take our dogs out for a walk (bathroom break). So I have the baby in the front carrier, I'm holding my other son's hand on one side and my dogs leashes on the other side. Yeah...it's a lot of fun. Hopefully I won't have to keep this up for too much longer.

Adding One

Going from one kid to two isn’t too bad. Our first really kept me busy to the point that when I was pregnant with my second, I was worried that I would go crazy with two. But, my second is so much easier then my first ever was. Not that I’m saying having two is a piece of cake. I’d say my “me” time has gotten so small that I can hardly see it anymore…I’m still working on that. But, I’m sure my second being easier is partially due to my already knowing what to expect from my first. Of course, I do have two boys so I know trouble is in their future. ;)
